I rarely play mobile games. I do not like the tiny screens, and not having a physical controller to move around and function with (yes, I know I can use one for mobile, but it goes back to my first point). This used to be a standout amongst all the low effort predatory mobile games. Not sure when it happened but the monetisation on this is completely insane now you're talking like 2000 " candy" or £60 to unlock all the modes and characters. One of the best games I keep coming back to play for many years. Wonderful design, story, and simple but fun mechanics making one focus on creating a new deck in each playthrough. Like others who paid, I do not like the addition of ads. People who bought the full version shouldn't need to have immersion ruined or get bonuses for watching an ad. Card effects are not always clear (looking at you sticky) and story can be muddled from poor English translation. Despite all of the above it's a really good game. It just needs a bit of polish. Remove the ads for premium customers but leave the bonuses and get a good translator. Keep the ads in the free version where they belong before you lose your premium fans.2024-04-21 01:15:32

It's a really good game. I bought some of the DLCs. Although I think adding some cards a bit more often would increase the likelihood of others buying them as well. Right now I want to buy the DLCs for the other games modes but I feel like after I buy them and finish them there is not a way to keep progressing. Maybe making the dungeons a bit longer. I've been playing this game on and off for the past 4 years, so I'd like to update my review. There are so many different play styles and difficulty levels, making this game have a high level of replayability. You do have to pay to unlock more things but it's definitely worth it.
