I paid for no ads. I have been playing this game for many years. I purchased the mega-pack option for the no ad feature. This latest update has ads, and in order to make room for them, the entire play area has been compressed. Some of the games are quite expansive and are now harder to play. Poor update. And I would have difficulty recommending this app.

I paid for this app years ago to get rid of ads. New update gave me an ad banner! It also keeps crashing! My choices of background and cards was changed on me too. Trying to get the appearance back to what it was causes endless crashing. Why change a good thing? Now they want $39.99 for an app?!?! Will find another solitaire app.

I love the layouts, the fireworks and no ads! **Edited to change my review from 5 Stars to 2 Stars. 10 hours ago they updated the app. As it turns out they have decided to make this app free (wonderful idea as prior to this morning I thought this was a fantastic app) but for those of us who paid real money for it, it's a slap in the face that we now not only have to view the ads that we PAID NOT to see but the only card backing I cared for has also been removed. Sure, they now have a feature I can upload a photo for a backing but would I trust them with that kind of access to my phone? What else have they changed? What else do they have access to or are selling from our information to make their money? There's not an option to get rid of the ads that I can find and I wouldn't pay for it again. In fact, I'm very seriously considering removing it entirely. Being able to play a nice, calm solitaire game without ads and not only getting fireworks but getting to actively play with and create my own at the end of the game brought a tiny ray of sunshine and helped me de-stress in a time when that's pretty important. My phone won't play a lot of games and it's one of the only ones I kept. Not worth it anymore.

Used to love playing this game. Now every time an ad appears it automatically sends me to the play store when I click to exit the ad when it finishes. Then I get stuck in a loop between the ad and the play store. I have to force close the game and restart it to play on. When this gets fixed I might come back and change my rating.

Update: i paid for no ads but am once again seeing ads. Cant make it stop. POS Game designed for accidental purchase. $42.99 that Play Store will not refund. There is a drop down menu with purchase no-ad option that can be opened in the normal course of sliding cards around during play. One clumsy moment and you have just bought it. Also as a lefty, my index finger is almost always in the location of that transluscent arrow that opens the dreaded menu that caused this.

DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS APP!! I paid for this game some years ago to be ad free. A little while back, the gsm was updated, and even though I paid for it, suddenly the ads are back. Add to that are the bugs that appeared, and I'm a little peeved. Now, full screen ads that interrupt not only the game, but anything else I'm doing on my phone as well? Nope, I'm done! Deleting the app.
