The ONLY reason I'm marking it a 3 instead of a 5 is 'easy' does not mean easy. Easy = Difficult, Medium = Impossible, and Hard = You hate yourself! I love the mechanics. I love the graphics. I love the feel of the game. It's just WAY to intense to be a casual game, and that's what I feel these tower defense games are. It's just too frustrating to keep playing when you're at wave 19 and you die, and you're just not set up correctly. Looking for a decent, returnable to it, TD app and having troubles. There seems to be 2 concepts the genre follows when developing a TD game. Seemingly endless battling with intricate webbed upgrade system. All in hopes the many opts. ones able to do will keep players busy. The other, great graphics and a decent challenge making the lack of responsibility, and choices, as means of adding difficulty. Once beaten it's done. The interface is beyond stupid. Instead of slots they have a grid. You can build anywhere on the grid. Super cool. Except where you can't and where you can't is ill defined. Not cool. Instead of planting and upgrading towers you spend the whole time searching for spots that work. When you do finally find a spot the any movement puts you back in the red and you're starting over while the enemy skips by laughing. The graphics are stunning. Extremely high detail. Unlike other tower defense games, the payout is very reasonable for destroying enemies and upgrades for towers are included with regular game play. No need to earn coins to buy upgrades, to then go back and replay the levels to try to get 5 stars.. just use the upgrades and figure it out!!2024-03-31 15:40:31

Good game for the first few lvls but then quickly transitions to BS and trys to almost force you into micro transactions by making it so difficult. It would be nice if they had bio of all the weapons and the capabilitys along with the enemies and their weaknesses. As the lvls go's up to me it felt like you earned less from each kill along with taking more to kill them enemies to the point of not possible.2024-03-31 11:39:28

Maps are huge and awkward. Very quickly you have maps with two unrelated paths. The difficulty curve is nasty. The more realistic graphics are nice but it makes finding all your towers a little obnoxious. Sometimes you place them under a tree and forget they are there or you can't see exactly what level it is or even which tower it is. Shadows are also VERY dark.
