Art Style- Clean, good usage of colors. Characters are cute and so are the monsters. Design/Animations- Upgrading a weapon or armor gives it a new style. Monsters attacking and the player alike are pretty smooth. Gameplay- Story is fun, and so is leveling up, although reaching higher levels needs you to fail a few times before coming back stronger. For the amount of access it wants, the payoff in fun doesn't measure up. The graphics are well done if you like chibi-style things, but it's just three buttons. Exploration amounted to brief pit stops between rhythm-clicking race courses. Didn't even get to the relationship parts...the complete lack of character/relationship options meant I had no connection to the character. This game loses a lot of steam the longer you play, but the worst is the plot. I just now, as a A-8 Ranked Knight (each rank goes from 9 to 1 before starting over with the next letter), the plot has decided to start gushing about how I'm newly B-rank. Add to that the fact that the main reason I did so many deliveries in the first place is that the equipment upgrading requires random drops you get during the battles means it's an immersion breaking oversight. I can say the fact that you're automatically able to tell if a gift was a hit or a flop with any given girl/pets without wasting an item the second time is nice. I wish something similar had been in the Harvest Moon series. Old, 5-star review: Adorable little game. Great pacing. Allows you to decide on you style of play via how you update your equipment. Very adorable game, but some pesky mobile elements still dilute the experience. For example, for some reason, I need to pay gems or watch a video to refill my health between runs. This is very tedious and seems like an unneeded element. High price spikes (such as the pet dog) tempt the user to purchase gems, because the obtainable coin counterpart is simply unrealistically expensive. A really, really great game. The gameplay is simple and pleasantly challenging, the graphics are cute, and grinding is pretty much acceptable. A game for people who wants a quick game and feel like they are so good at it, but it requires diligent commitment to maximize the experience of playing it.
