This works well for reporting and blocking. Once or twice it stopped working and left the phone open after an update (this has not happened for a while). The location tracking seems less reliable than the available coverage. Improving location reporting would be really great! But so far really great.2024-05-03 10:17:42

It was acceptably mediocre until it stopped working. It no longer was letting me allow apps on my child's device. Anything flagged by it's filters was not allowed to be exempted. I was able to do it in the beginning but in less than a month that feature stopped working. I tried reinstall but it was no longer syncing to my child's device. Very frustrating. I'm switching so something else. The Microsoft family app was all i needed but that isn't compatible with the new device we purchased.2024-05-03 01:59:01

Initially this app worked well (I have premium version), almost preventing access to selected apps when 'play time' ends. It still had small issue allowing app to run for few seconds before covering it with overlay, so was not perfect (so hour clicking can get you couple of play minutes in total) But some time ago (may be month, I may have not noticed it for a while) It just stopped doing overlay and just put notification that is of course ignored (notification not even displayed). Statistic is not gathered as well anymore. I tried contacting support, but got long list of instructions how to provide evidence of the bug, install debug version and reproduce adding another app to get extended info. This will take much more time and efforts and I choose to move on to different app. I suggest looking for more reliable solution. Unfortunately.2024-05-02 16:52:59

Works well if properly configured. The degree of monitoring can be easily customized, from light monitoring to paranoid parent. Standard configuration is ok, but may need tweaking in some devices, namely setup Android so that it doesn't shut down the app (Kaspersky has tutorials on this). This app has been incredibly helpful to our family. The main feature we'd like to see is a single switch to temporarily block a device (instead of changing the whole schedule). The device usage view in the Android mobile app is also very difficult to use. The website is much easier to understand. Even with these two, we will absolutely renew. The first year or so i had great experience with this app, good features, good interface, good performance. But the past 3 months I've started having issues with settings, eg i exclude apps from the banned settings (eg youtube) so kids can use them but Safekids keeps blocking them. Now the app won't even open on my phone! I've reinstalled several times and still freezing, can't use it all! I'm finding a new solution, no more of this2024-04-29 22:21:48
