Unable to access this app for any intent or purpose despite all efforts. A snooze button on a smoke alarm would provide greater functionality and have more purpose. The upshot of that is that this app is a near perfect representation of politicians.

Absolute rubbish. Cannot use with more than one device. I use different devices in different countries to do tax returns. SMS doesn't work as I am on a yacht out at sea... No phone reception. Totally inflexible!

Accidentally dropped my old phone i had previously downloaded this app on in water. It completely died and wont turn on. Got a new phone and now cant access my account at all - even though I had both sms and secret questions as options for login authentication. Now apparently there's nothing thay can be done but create a new account?? This is the laziest, most ineffective joke of an app and system. Dear The Australian Government, well done in treating people who are actually trying to do the right thing like they don't matter enough for you to rectify such a major flaw in yoir system with what could honestly be a much easier fix. This app is disgraceful and shows how little the government cares about its people - particularly those doing it tough but also trying to do the right and recommended thing as suggested to them by centrelink staff. The fact that people can be penalised by being locked out of their account through no ill intended fault of their own and because the government's mygov authentication system is flawed and they refuse to fix it is absolutely unconscionable on the part of the government.

Not good enough! Authenticators are good, and I use them where I can. Problem here is that you can't use recovery codes like other good authenticators. People that use password repositories like 1Password can secure them and if they lose/change their phone they can easily reset the authenticators. If this app had that, then I would use it. Without it, you get what folks are complaining about here.

This app does not let you switch devices with the same information. Keeps telling you to go to old device (which I don't have) to remove. Ridiculous! Continually going round in circles despite setting up a new account as it recommends.

Having to register a phone is stupid, so many problems when you change phones, you pretty much need to make a whole entire new account if your phone is broken. Not okay. Not even sure when they updated the app to be like that, so not impressed with such a stupid change.
