I have downloaded many different Roku Remote Apps and this one has worked the best for me. I have used it for years and am very grateful to have found this app, especially when my real remote has gone missing. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes, even with my roku tv already on, it will say that the roku is not connected to the internet so the remote app won't connect to it. If my roku TV is on, it automatically is connected to the internet so there must be some issue with the app.2024-06-01 06:47:05

The "official" roku remote was garbage. Constantly freezing or disconnecting from devices. And every other roku remote app in the store has an absurd amount of ads. THIS app though seems to have been made by someone who actually cares. It's perfect. No issues and absolutely no ads at all in the 2 weeks I've had it. It works incredibly well. The update now made it even better. It's honestly better than the physical remotes. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make pause/play, rewind/ff, and volume buttons accessible from phone's drop-down menu when not on the app screen. I hate having to go find the app and open it back up just to access those options. Change that and it becomes a solid 5-star app.2024-06-01 00:51:45

This is one of my most used apps. Multiple times per day I can't find, or I am not near my physical remote...so I open this app and I don't have to get up and look for it. It connects very easily and has all the controls and options as the remote that came with my Roku tv. It even looks just like the real remote. I really like the it is a very small app (only 2+ megabytes) and doesn't slow down my phone. It also connects to my tv through my wifi almost instantly. I love this app!!2024-05-31 09:24:43

I temporarily lost my Roku remote control and was looking for an app to replace it till I could find where it was. I tried two other apps until I found this one. This one is perfect. I just opened the app and it automatically connected to my TV and had immediate responsiveness. You don't need to pay for access to a keyboard or your Roku channels. The ads are not intrusive at all. So far, so good! I downloaded the app because I can't keep track of a remote control. This app works just as well as the physical remote. I tried other Roku apps but wasn't patient enough to figure them out. This one has nothing to figure. It's straightforward from start. Only thing I would like fixed would be to have the option to turn the TV on with the app. That has to be done on the actual TV which is a hassle if it's mounted to the wall.
