This app does work! To connect: (do not open XDV app yet) Activate Wi-Fi on cam, Go to Wi-Fi settings in your phone and as you would normally to see your home router etc, you should see the cam, connect directly to cam. (you might want to temporary forget the normal home Wi-Fi just in case it reverts back) Allow phone to auto connect to cam when visible (optional) Back out of wifi settings and start the app, It will now allow you to connect :) Thought the app was garbage till I sussed it :)2024-05-31 19:00:31

i cannot for the life of me get this app to work with my camera... seriously just make it a little more user friendly. if i connect to the camera i should be able to use transfer files or at least view them. right now i can't even connect. pretty upsetting when a go pro is only a hundred dollars more. Does not work with Google Pixel 3 on the latest version of Android. Was troubleshooting with camera support people via email and they asked me to try on another phone. App worked on a Samsung Galaxy S7 that I borrowed. It just hangs on my phone and never connects to the camera. Needs updating for the latest version of Android!2024-05-27 02:08:51
